Asit Rairkar, PhD
Asit is the founder of Samaasa Consulting. He is also a faculty member in Electrical Engineering at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, CA. After more than fifteen years in Silicon Valley in companies of all sizes ranging from big name entities like Apple and Applied Materials to startups like MiaSolé, Asit embarked on this journey of disseminating his knowledge and experience to today's technology startups.
Asit has a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Pune. He has led multi-disciplinary engineering projects and teams of all scales and sizes and in several countries. He is a well recognized subject matter expert in 'Design of Experiments' and 'Process Optimization' and 'Data Science'.
Jessica Boisselle-Rairkar, MSE, PMP
Jessica is the Co-founder and Principal of Samaasa Consulting. She has 18 years of industry experience, with 14 at Lockheed Martin (LM) where she managed multi-million dollar contracts and oversaw the full lifecycle of hardware development as a Principal Engineer. In her time at LM she also led the development of materials and processes for DoD Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 to 5, as well as controls subsystem TRL 7 to 9.
Jessica has a Masters of Science in Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Jessica has also completed a certificate in Project and Program Management from the University of California Santa Cruz, and is PMI PMP certified.
